days in surabaya

I was in Surabaya for 3 days.
Started from Jogja, I and My grandpa went there by Sancaka. The train, you know...
We got the earlier one. Was it Sancaka I? Or Sancaka II? Can't remember. But for sure I remember that we got the morning one, 7.30 am.
Arrived at 1 pm. Then waiting for my Auntie who already been in Surabaya since a day before. Together we went to the hotel. Oh, we had a problem to decide what hotel should we stay. She wanted us to stay in Hotel Bali [a small hotel. very small hotel. but can afford to stay there for 5 days. beside it's near from all the Pasar -market, shopping centre-. Pasar Turi. Pasar Atom. Pasar Genteng.] while I wanted to use my card and stay in at least Mataram Hotel and pay 50% from the publish rate. But she's the boss :)
So we went to Hotel Bali. And its rate start from 45 grand to 100 grand.
Praise the Lord, we took the 100 grand one. Sure, she knew that taking the big one is wiser as 5 will sleep there!
Then we realized it wasn't 5. But 6.
Me, Meggy & Dhelsy [they got the last train on that day], Auntie & Grandpa and Vera [cousin, lives in Surabaya].
Imagine 6 persons in a room. But its Ok. We had 3 queen size beds at last.
In the evening, we're starving. But can't go out as it was rainy. Like hell.
So, I called Dony and asked him whether he could come at the moment or not.
"I've got a home made compilation CD for you"
at the end...
"Please bring us some fried stuff if you could"
In about an hour, he appeared.
Then with him, I went to his boarding house, to make some copy of his CDs.
Hmmm... met his brother [bio brother!] who also my not-so-close-friend since junior high and another not-so-close-friend since senior high. They're going to go out and have some fun, I supposed.
Want to burn all the mp3 onto 2 CDs but all I can get is audio file on a CD.
The Best of Shania Twain.
Yeah, not too bad hahaha. Saved 90 grands [?]. And I've liked her since 4 years ago.
And her country songs are really different, just great!
From his place we went to Tunjungan Plaza to see or buy things that I've forgot.
Then picked Meggy & Dhelsy up at 24.00!
What a train! Late as people think it's usual.

Day 2
I was crazy. Chasing around for all the stuff my brother ordered.
From Pasar Atom, moved to Pasar Turi. Then from Pasar Turi to Pasar Genteng.
Got nothing! But tired.

Day 3
Did all the best I could. Called this called that and then with their help, I went to... I forgot its name!
Finally I had almost all what he ordered, in that shop.
Going back to hotel, I saw Pasar kembang [For old time's sake, don't ask me how many Pasar they have in Surabaya] and kaboom!!!
My yeah-kinda-close friend, Pocai just moved and lived there.
Called his sister, Busy.
Called his another sister, "I'm working. Call him at home, would you?"
But I didn't. Told cabbie to drop me at Tunjungan Plaza.
Alone there. Dony was busy with his deadline.
Handy was ringing. A call from Pocai !
"Meet me at DiscTara Tunjungan Plaza... Ok?"
Again, it was ringing. From Dony. He's willing to go out...
"Find me and Pocai at DiscTara, Tunjungan Plaza!"
And then there were three.
Crazy in that store.
Had our lunch and then with our take-aways we're stepping out.
Dony choosed wrong cab!!!!
Darn cabbie was driving me crazy!
We're speaking our own language and that darn cabbie thought we're just another stupid boys who comes from Mollucas or we're new in surabaya or we don't know anything about darn city and its roads.
Anyway, he was toying us. I lost control. I might be the impolite person but you made me that way, cabbie...
Finally we arrived at the hotel.
We paid double of the usual fare! Double time also!
I couldn't understand why Pocai had to bother him self to cheer him up...
Picked my stuff then said goodbye to my room mates and in a rush gotta catch my train!

write me?

Hmm... actually got nothing to write here...
I am blank [as usual]... Oh, lately I have plenty ideas about my plots [hmm still dare to dream to be an author] hope I could save some ounces of my energy then stick my ass and start to write again...
Woke up this morning at 6 am [golly gee, pain all over my body...], then had a rush time, to catch the bus, went to novotel to take shower [we still have problem with water!] and moved from there to campus. Join Accounting class at 7.30. Then a good news he told us... [or remind us?] that at 8 am we'll have some demo how to register online for next semester [thanks to me, i already knew how to] so, it was only 30 minutes in that class!
But he really knew exactly what to do in 30 minutes, a homework would be good. And as we only have one more chance to meet before final test, he asked us whether we could join together on thursday class [i really hate when they do things they like with no care for others! i am busy on every thursday til this semester over! mean, i'll miss one class again just to join this Accounting, like before!] and most of us said yes, so we'll have Acounting on thursday! Cheers!

Oh, right now I'm in Computer Lab. And this is my second time since I renewed my status :)
Downloading iTunes and do a browse.
When I finish, should be home and prepare all the stuff before go to pay all the bills... today's my last chance, before go to Surabaya...

And about hair color... I'll keep it black for few more months.
Not because I can't handle the way to be a brunette or blonde or cooper head, but it just because I am still looking for a perfect color hahaha...
grey also looks fabulous but I'll look 10 years older, I think.
Same thing happen if I choose white?

bye bye black ???

whoops... quicky one.
should I change my hair color?
Charmy brunette? Lusty blond? Nasty red?
I think I'll look younger [god, I know I look so old!] and not that ice cold if I change my hair color. Black gives you all the mysterious look [and I still hope that one day I'll have my lucifer... together we'll walk at the night... like a bitchy witch]
But..... ugh, I feel pity for my hair. I'll do it when I know my hair is in good condition.

Jogja... Overloaded!

Gee, this is the worst ever happened in Jogja, this week..
Everywhere, everybody is busy. Traffic. And overloaded.
Like all the moslems and other strangers need to meet their lovers here.
The street full with cars and buses that moved slowly like a group of snails. Really slow.
The shopping malls are full with people... Crowded!
And the pool! Since when don't they think that we can't swim if they got all the family members with them in the pool?
Dad Mom and at least 2 children times how many? 30? 50?
Sure, the water doesn't look clean at all...
God knows how I really wish they'll be disappeared tomorrow morning...
I wanna take sun bath before leave to Surabaya..

Imagine, I get the skin color like Ms. Campbell..
Ain't it good? Something new?
Black hair, black eyes, and black skin.
Plus a fake diamond (real diamond for charity, anyone?) sticks on a teeth?
Ok, I know that's too much...
Another creepy boy!

now what?

Whoops... jogja getting normal now!
[normal? uhm I'd not like to make it normal then]
A lot of cars... Motorbikes... Buses... and people!
Thanks god, shopping malls are open...
Easy to get foods...
Just back to life!

Oh, I met Ivonne and her boyfriend [is he?] when I was in Galeria 15 minutes ago!
It's been 1 year [?] since I saw her last time... Cool. Still looks pretty :D
But next time, make sure you don't ask me about that stupid bastard, Ivonne :)

Tomorrow... what to do?
Don't know... Have nothing to do. But thinking a lot about The Sims 2.
[i know i am just too late to play this game...!] I really like this game!
But I must wait for a long queue.
We [Meggi, Jack, Gusty and I] love this game so much, and we gotta fight for the chance to play this game.
Could play only on Meggi's PC [can't install it on stupid old notebook of mine!] so its kinda sucks.
I will play this game again in 3 more days...! Tomorrow, Gusty's turn. A day after, Jack's.
God, I'm so desperately need a new notebook. Powerbook.
Oh and the classes will start again in 3 days. [bored!!!]
[hey, got my ticket to surabaya.. will be there from 22 to 24]

Jogja, wonderful today...

Can't believe!
This used to be crowded city become so empty today!
You can walk around with no worry that a bad driver gangster wannabe will strike you...
So empty and quiet.
Only few things bug me a lot.
Shopping mall ain't open. Neither the street side restaurant.
Make it worst, I don't have a stock of some instant food. Instant noodle soup.
Oh the drinking water also empty! But it ain't a big problem.
Fucking McDonald is open. So hard to try not to eat any meat! But cola you can't say a single NO.
Anyway, I still like this city. With its emptiness and quietness. Silence.
Oh, it's windy also! Just almost perfect! I really love this city today.
Maybe for today only... Happened as it's Moslem's great day now..

Choices:
-Game over.
-Restart.
-Kill them.
-Make the worst happened.

upside down

My days have been something strange lately...
The problem with water supply makes me gotta sleep late, and wake up late! And for the water is not much, I won't take the risk to use it in morning. I decide to make a stop at Novotel and use my membership to take quick shower before go to my campus. So when I become too lazy in the evening, I don't have to go out just to take shower!

Oh, and homeworks. Got two homeworks. Economics math. In english. Huh, the worst is.. must do it in a group. And I don't have friends :))
Great!
Should make friends start today!

Hmm my Grandpa will leave for Dobo in 12 more days. And I am supposed to take him to Surabaya to meet my Auntie. For a week they'll be in Surabaya for a medical check up then take the flight to Ambon. Next day they'll go with my sister and her baby to Dobo.
Oh, funny thing is, the ticket from Ambon to Dobo cost two times more expensive than Surabaya - Ambon!

the story. part 1.

You were noticed that Ve, Ian and Mike will be in jogja. And their stories already on the net. So here's the story of mine.

On Saturday they were arrived, directly from airport they went to NatureBoy's place. Then moved to their hotel room. And my first meeting with them was in Superman cafe. It's a great time to [have something to] relief your hot day. Really.
And it's just great to see them again. Well, NatureBoy is living in the same city with me but for some reasons we seldom meet. He's so busy as an artist and I'm quite busy with my management things.
Ve, Ian and Mike are living in jakarta. So for sure it's kinda nonsense to write that I meet them quite often :)
From Superman cafe, we'd like to go to Solo [a city an hour away from jogja] but we didn't make it as we were late. We missed the train. From train station [A place I really like to be when I feel down must be this place. I really enjoy the sounds of the trains. They sound like they'll split or explode but still, such a fantastic music for me].
At night, we had dinner at Lesehan Wida [located on Kaliurang street] together with Iqbal and friends of Mike's.
Soda lounge was the next target. We're there [well, I was there] just to taste their Soda's. And I really enjoy it's atmosphere, although we didn't talk much but read a lot. Yes, read.

On Sunday, we went to the pool after having our lunch at a place somewhere on Pasar Kembang area.
You must know what was happening in the pool. You're right, we swim... Ve flirts hahaha kidding.
Ian taught me some styles but I stil can't swim that way. So, I just dive. That's easier.
From the pool, we had dinner at Es Eny [not so far from Galeria Mall] then moved to Galeria Mall. Doing some crazy things like.. what they call that thing.. DDR? Something about dance dance and dance. And together with Ian, I got the title, worst dancer hahaha.
After that, we went to SOBO pakualaman [on Sultan Agung street] and had some cakes. This trip, Ve cs. transform us from eat-when-you-need to just-eat-them-all. :)

On Monday, Ve, Ian, Mike and NatureBoy were packing the paintings they'll bring to jakarta for an exhibition on December.
In noon, I was asked whether I can go with them to Solo or not. Sure I can. I want. Never been in Solo before :)
So, we decided to meet at Periplus bookshop, Malioboro Mall. While waiting for them, I saw two books, very cheap, only Rp 10.000 per each. About Mollucas and Irian Jaya.
And it's been making me homesick to see the pictures. I really love where I was born. Thank God, I come from Mollucas, a very beautiful place with beautiful flora and fauna. Sure, very beautiful people also ;)
Oh, we had something to taste at the cafe inside that bookshop!
See? Everythings about filling our stomach!
Finally we went to Solo. And we had Nasi Liwet for the dinner then moved to Roemahkoe for dessert... :)
They told that roemahkoe is belong to Mr Akbar Tanjung. Don't know who's Akbar Tanjung? Do a Google!
He leads the Golongan Karya party.
Oh, they have 13 rooms/beds at roemahkoe! And not so expensive, around Rp 250 grand something. Interested?

This early morning, Ian and Mike left for jakarta. Ve got the late flight, evening one.
They're all in jakarta now eh? :)
