Go Get 'Em Bitch!

Joey and Iin, my best friends with whom I party religiously, had me to have dinner with them at Sangam House last night. I had no idea it was a surprise goodbye dinner from them.

I was quite speechless but you know I had good time. Thanks, bitches!

Look at the cake! You do know how to kiss ass. ;)

I guess I had posted a picture of Sangam House's Madras Mutton Curry on my previous posting but I would post it here again. This was my favourite obviously. The lamb was so tender and the curry was super! I would willingly slap anyone to have this again!

Thanks for everything and hope to see you all again!

Joey's

I just woke up (at 2200 hours!) when Joey texted me he's on his way to pick me up for dinner, so not much to do but brush my teeth and put a jacket on.

After dinner, I and Joey go to Bintang to meet some friends. Bintang is like our regular meeting point! It opens till 2300 hours. When Bintang is closed, we just moved across the street. Buy some beers at Circle K and hang out on its terrace (we call it, Terrace cafe) until we're a little bit tipsy before we go partying at Republic.

Yes, we are "Alay", we are that low, drinking beers in front of Circle K. Get over it!

As I haven't taken shower yet, I'm not near my party mood. I decide to stay with them for a beer at Terrace cafe then moved to Joey's instead of Republic.
Joey's is like heaven with many things one can do there... Fun place.
But we need to stop somewhere for some energy drinks. I'm exhausted with all the partying in Yogyakarta!

Masakan Jepara

My friends, Iin and Abe, are going to open a restaurant that sells Jepara's specialty.
And we had a meeting where they tried to showcase their skills. Njam njam, delicious!

Batik

I am currently breathing in a city which produce Batik!
What you see below is the making of a handmade Batik (which can cost up to IDR 1.000.000/USD 100 per sheet)

Of course I want to have Batik...
Being an Indonesian, I'd wear it as often as I can... I should have thousand of Batik!

A salesman was being nice, entice me on wearing it.

I then decide to have myself photographed in a Yogyakarta costume!
I should be a Sultan. And I would lead funky cool people...

PS: I hate the fact that lately Malaysia has been claiming every Culture of Indonesia (including Batik) as their own. That's a very low thing a nation can do. Shame on you.
