Karimunjawa Island

I, Mitch, and Marc decide to spend a week in a remote place within central Java called Karimunjawa Island, which actually has many remote islands around it.

We hitchhike to Jepara, central Java (it was the open trunk of a truck!) then take a ferry boat to Karimunjawa Island. There we stay in a hostel and rent a boat with a driver to take us around the (eight) islands (of fourteen or twenty eight island, I am not sure. I would make a bad journalist, I know).

You should see how well Marc covers the whole journey here. He has the evidence that we were on the trunk!

This one is our hostel with its pond filled with sharks and other bad ass fishes.

Thess, our neighbour from Netherlands.

We arrive at some empty island and decide to stay overnight in it. The plan is to sleep on the beach but we are kinda afraid of scorpions, snakes, etc, so at the end we sleep in the boat.

Below is the boat where we spend the night: drinking and smoking to warm up before sleeping.

One of many things you meet underwater... Not to scare you but we see some dangerous underwater creatures too. I am talking about echinodermata and others.
